Santa Maria di Sala (VE), April 27th, 2023
After the two American rounds between Argentina and the United States, the Moto2 World Championship is back in Europe for the Spanish GP at Jerez de la Frontera. It is one of the shortest circuits of the season, with a total length of 4.42 km.
Celestino Vietti proved to be fast in a demanding circuit like COTA, and the pole position in Austin was an injection of confidence for him.
Borja Gomez will finally race in a circuit he knows and in front of his people.
Celestino Vietti: “Finally, we arrived in Europe! We had our winter tests in Jerez, but the weather conditions will be different this weekend because of higher temperatures. But I like this circuit, and we can get a good result”.
Borja Gomez: “I am looking forward to riding in Spain, in a circuit I know. Furthermore, I want to get a good result in front of my people!”.
