Le Mans, May 11th, 2023
The Bugatti circuit of Le Mans this weekend will be the scene of Grand Prix number 1,000 in the history of MotoGP.
It is the third shortest circuit in the world championship, at 4.19 km in length. However, it is characterised by peculiar corners, which force the rider to make sudden braking and sudden accelerations.
Fantic Racing wants a place in the front row of this prestigious theatre.
Celestino Vietti is all set to show his skills at Le Mans and make up for his performance at the Jerez GP. Last year, he amazed everyone with his impressive comeback from the back of the pack to the top 10.
Borja Gomez will face a track he has yet to race on in the upcoming race. However, he will give his best with his unwavering determination and tenacity.
Celestino Vietti: "I am enthusiastic about returning to Le Mans, as this circuit holds a special place in my heart. In fact, I achieved my second victory in the world championship in 2020. We made some progress during the Jerez tests, and I am confident we'll perform well during the weekend ".
Borja Gomez: "I am eager to ride on the Le Mans circuit this weekend. Although the weather may be uncertain, I will do my best. Let's monitor the weather closely and give it our all ".
