The Fantic Racing MX team ready for the French GP

The seventh round of the motocross world championship is being run at the Villars sous Ecot track. After the success in the EMX250, this weekend is the turn of the women's world championship and the EMX125.

Villars sous Ecot, May 19th 2023

After the excellent weekend of the Spanish GP, the Fantic Racing MX team faces the French stage, which returns to Burgundy after seven years. In addition to the MX2 world championship, the fourth round of the women's world championship and the 125 European championship are on the programme.

The liveries of the Fantic Racing MX team's bikes will still feature the eye-catching fluorescent yellow/black colour scheme, launched on the occasion of the GP of Trentino and already present on some successful models of the Fantic offroad range.

This is the home race for Tom Guyon, who is competing in the MX2 class and is just back from his excellent debut in the Italian championship, where he took second place overall thanks to a heat win and a hole shot. His performances are back to his usual level, which is an encouraging sign after a successful weekend.

In the WMX world championship, Lynn Valk aims to repeat the second place overall obtained in the previous grand prix, to bring his Fantic XXF 250 to the podium of the world championship standings.

Elias Escandell and Maximilian Werner, in the EMX 125, arrive in Villars boosted by their recent great victories: Escandell is the Spanish champion, while Werner won the second stage of the German championship.

Marco Maddii (Fantic Racing MX Team Manager): "It's going to be an intense weekend, especially for Tom Guyon, who will appear in front of his home crowd with great motivation to finally show his full potential after his long recovery from the injury in the opening MX2 championship race. In the 125 class, I expect Maximillian and Elias to be in great form after their strong performances in their respective national championships last week. As for Lynn, we expect confirmation of his growth path, which took him to the podium at the last GP."
