Following the unfortunate start crash in Uddevalla on Sunday, Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Brent Van doninck is forced to miss the upcoming GP of the Netherlands.
Brent Van doninck was involved in a first-turn incident in MXGP race 2 in Sweden that brought his weekend to an early end. Following an initial check-up at the medical centre on site, the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP rider returned to Belgium and underwent further medical examinations on Tuesday morning, which confirmed the full extent of the injury: Van doninck sustained four fractured ribs and will therefore miss the MXGP of the Netherlands.
Jörgen-Matthias Talviku, who was already standing in for Alberto Forato aboard the Fantic XXF 450, will be flying the flag for Fantic Factory Racing MXGP, as the sand of Arnhem marks a return to his favoured terrain for the 23-year-old Estonian.
