Norbinn flies at the top of the Youth

ENDUROGP, ESTONIA - ALBIN NORBINN FLIES SOLO AT THE TOP OF THE YOUTH. DAVIDE GUARNERI SECOND IN THE E1 CLASS AND JUST MISSES THE PODIUM IN THE ENDUROGP.

Kuressaare, Estonian seaside town located on the island of Saaremaa, hosted the third round of the 2021 Enduro World Championship. On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July the Estonian GP was held, and Fantic riders were the absolute protagonists, especially with the eight litres in the Youth class.

The flat terrain of Saaremaa Island did not help the Motoclub Redmoto, who designed a route with three special tests not particularly difficult. The Enduro Test in a flat forest with sandy soil and deep holes has enhanced the skills of a former motocross rider like Davide Guarneri who has performed well in both days of competition. Also congenial to its technical characteristics was the Cross Test positioned inside a motocross circuit with hard and dusty ground, while the Extreme Test, lasting around seven minutes, had more characteristics of an enduro test than an extreme one.

Davide Guarneri (Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing) raced as in the first two GPs of the season, showing determination and grit. In the Enduro1 class the former motocross rider Davide Guarneri tried to win both days of the race and until the last special test he gave his best.

The final score of the Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing's rider, who currently occupies the second position in the provisional standing of the E1 class, is a second place in the first day of competition, after dominating almost all the special tests, and a second place also on Sunday.

Also in the EnduroGP Davide Guarneri collected some good results with an impressive fourth place in the opening day and another fourth place in the final day.

Great performance for Jed Etchell (Fantic D’Arpa Racing), who in the Junior1 class collected two third positions and returned to taste the taste of the podium.

In the Youth class the Fantic riders suffered the sandy ground and didn't manage to shine as usual. Only Albin Norrbin (Fantic D’Arpa Racing), was able to perform well in Estonia and after the double success he jumped to the top of the provisional Youth ranking.

Harry Edmondson (Fantic JET Racing) lost the leadership due to a hand injury during Day1. Kevin Cristino (Fantic D’Arpa Racing) took third place in Day1 and fourth place in Day2.

The next Swedish GP will take place one day earlier than usual race program. On Thursday evening, 22nd July, the Super Test will take place and the two racing days will be Friday 23rd July and Saturday 24th July.

DAVIDE GUARNERI: "This weekend I really enjoyed myself in the sand of the Enduro Test, the very fast Extreme and the motocross circuit of the Cross Test. I am happy with the results and hope to continue until the end of the season".

RICCARDO FABRIS: "A GP very complicated especially in the Enduro Test where I struggled to find the right race pace".

ALBIN NORRBIN: "I would say a very good weekend and now I am the leader in the provisional standings of the Youth. Two good wins but now let's focus on the home race".

HARRY EDMONDSON: "An unlucky weekend, during the first day of the race I injured my hand, I gritted my teeth and finished the race but the final results are disappointing".

KEVIN CRISTINO: "Even though the race was not very demanding it was not easy to get a good result. I am extremely happy with the podium”.
