Guarneri unstoppable, Norbinn wins day 1 and 2

ENDUROGP, SWEDEN - DAVIDE GUARNERI WINS FIRST DAY OF COMPETITION IN THE E1 CLASS AND TAKES THE PODIUM IN THE ENDURO GP ON DAY 2. HOME RIDER ALBIN NORBINN WINS BOTH DAYS IN THE YOUTH CLASS

Skovde, a Swedish tourist town a few kilometres from Gothenburg, hosted the fourth round of the 2021 Enduro World Championship. On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July the Swedish GP was held and Fantic riders were the absolute protagonists.

A weekend to remember for Davide Guarneri who has conquered the highest step of the podium in the E1 class and the first podium in the Enduro GP. The military MotoClub, FMCK, designed three very special tests. A Cross Test located inside a quarry, an Extreme Test close to the Paddock, in a ski slope and an Enduro Test inside a classic sandy forest but with the peculiarity of a jump with a concrete ramp of about six meters.

Davide Guarneri (Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing) ran an incredible race giving to the Fantic colours huge successes and satisfactions. In the Enduro1 class the former motocross rider Davide Guarneri won the first day of competition dominating it as a real protagonist.

In the final day Davide came close to the feat, with one special test to go he was leading the E1 class and second in the Enduro GP. The Fantic rider ended the day with a second place in his class and a fabulous first podium in the Enduro GP.

After the good performance and the podiums at the Estonian GP also in Sweden Jed Etchells (Fantic D'Arpa Racing) repeated in the Junior1 class collecting a second and a fourth place.

In the Youth class the Fantic rider Albin Norrbin (Fantic, D'Arpa Racing) raced with the support of the home crowd and at the end of a fantastic weekend the Swedish rider collected two victories that catapult him towards the final title. Harry Edmondson (Fantic JET Racing) team and Kevin Cristino (Fantic D'Arpa Racing) completed the podium and the Fantic hat-trick in the opening day.

The Swedish GP is over and now the Enduro Circus takes a long break before moving to Zschopau, Germany, on October 9th and 10th for the penultimate GP of the 2021 season.

DAVIDE GUARNERI: "A heart-stopping race on Saturday, but even if I lost the first position I am happy for the podium in the Enduro GP. I am also extremely happy for the win in E1 on the opening day".

RICCARDO FABRIS: “A very complicated GP, on Saturday I injured my knee and retired".

ALBIN NORRBIN: "To race a world championship race in front of your own public is incredible. Feeling the warmth of the people, I will carry it in my heart forever".
