Madrid, May 4th, 2023

The MXGP calendar gives no rest. Just the time to celebrate the podiums of Elias Escandell and Max Werner at the Portuguese GP in the EMX125, with the German third on the day that is again race weekend. Back again to the Iberian Peninsula, but this time for the Spanish GP, at the intu-Xanadú Arroyomolinos circuit near Madrid. The programme includes the MX2 World Championship races and rounds three and four of the WMX and EMX250 classes.

Tom Guyon returns in the MX2 World Championship. The Frenchman is returning to the saddle of his Fantic XXF 250 and has spent the past few weeks training to regain feeling with the bike. After missing four races, the No. 27 Fantic Racing team can't wait to return to the racing atmosphere.

The EMX250 European Championship is on stage in Spain. Alexis Fueri and Cas Valk aim for the podium, a result within their reach. The Frenchman has already cancelled the unexpected retirement in the second heat in race two at Agueda. At the same time, the Dutchman has shown that he can compete with the top riders in the class, consistently finishing in the top 10.

The girls are back racing in the WMX World Championship. Lynn Valk comes to the Iberian circuit more determined than ever to get closer to the podium and reduce the distance from the leaders.

Marco Maddii (Fantic Racing MX Team Manager): "Tom has recovered almost completely from his injury, and we are happy. He's still not at his best, it will be a comeback race with the necessary attention, but for all of us, it will be the beginning, and from here on, we're looking for continuity in the world championship. Lynn, Cas and Alexis are well and looking forward to the Spanish GP."
