Fantic kicks off its new direction

EICMA, Milan - November 3 2026

Fantic opens its EICMA week with a press conference at 11:15 AM at its stand and arrives at the show with the most important news of its year: on October 14, 2026, the Court of Venice approved the debt restructuring agreements of Fantic Motor and Motori Minarelli, a process initiated in the first half of 2025. Creditor approval rates exceeded 90%, confirming the project's solidity: a systemic operation that saw the involvement of all internal, external, and financial company stakeholders, completed under the leadership of Co-CEOs Costantino Sambuy and Gianni Nardelotto. The transaction foresees that business activities will continue through a new company, Fantic S.p.A., 100% owned by public and private investors, with capital remaining fully Italian. A single industrial entity consolidating the history, business, and organizations of Fantic Motor and Motori Minarelli: motorcycles and engines designed and built in Italy, a single point of contact for the network, and a shorter supply chain. Fantic thus resumes operations within a framework of financial stability, allowing it to plan production, deliveries, and product development with continuity, and to strengthen its commercial presence in Italy and abroad.

"We have crossed the finish line of a true marathon. This is an achievement that belongs to everyone: to the shareholders, credit institutions, suppliers, and partners who believed in Fantic and gave it the opportunity to restart—and above all to the people of Fantic and Motori Minarelli, who over these months put in their passion, heart, and soul, and will be the true engine of this new chapter. Now it's up to us," comments Gianni Nardelotto, CEO of Fantic.

The core of the relaunch is the Fantic range, which today is expressed through four distinct souls: the iconic Caballero, a benchmark among lightweight scramblers capable of connecting generations of motorcyclists; the Enduro and Motard 50 and 125 family, which for over twenty years has accompanied youngsters into their "first love" on two wheels; the new Street range, inaugurated in 2025 by the Stealth and now by the Imola, the lightest naked and sports bikes in the A2 category; and the Off-road Pro range, the racing heart of the brand.

Fantic Racing remains the testing ground for every production Fantic, and the 2026 season confirmed the strength of a new generation of riders. In the EnduroGP World Championship, Fantic bikes won race days across all classes: in E3, with Théo Espinasse's victory at the GP of Portugal; in Junior; and in Youth, where Valentin Mersin finished second overall in the World Championship with the XE125. Espinasse also won the French E3 Champion title with the XE300, bringing Fantic to the top of the class manufacturers' trophy. In motocross, Bertram Thorius finished fourth in the EMX125 European Championship with a moto win and three podiums, while Gennaro Utech was crowned champion of the Italian Rookies Cup. The sports project for the 2027 season starts right from the youth sector, where the Fantic Factory Racing Enduro and EMX teams serve as benchmarks with a long-term vision. On the track, this strategy will translate into a reinforced presence in the EMX125 European Championship and national championships, while a new official team structure in the Enduro World Championship will be announced soon. Racing will continue to be a pillar of Fantic’s identity, playing a key role in developing technical solutions for production models: this is the Factory Feeling that every customer finds in their own Fantic.

The spirit remains the same as ever, Make it Fun: rebellious, one-of-a-kind motorcycles born from Italian genius and a passion for racing that transfers into every production model. The most tangible proof of this restart is the major new releases unveiled in Milan. "Now we look forward. We are refocusing on what Fantic does best: bikes, racing, and fun on two wheels. EICMA is the first real step of our restart, and we are facing it with facts: Imola, the in-house developed FRS suspension, the Caballero 500 Supermoto, and the XXF250 EVO reflect a company that designs, builds, and races in Italy. My thanks go to our dealer network, which never left us alone, and to the women and men of Fantic and Motori Minarelli. For Fantic, it is green light," states Costantino Sambuy, CEO of Fantic.
