Endurogp, Youth Class and more...

Marco de Canaveses, a small town a few kilometers from Porto, Portugal, hosted the twin third and penultimate world round where the last act of this particular and troubled 2020 season will also take place.

 

Week-end made the three special tests to the limit of practicability.

 

Jed Etchells - on XE 125 - in a single stroke won both days of competition, thus distancing his direct rivals. The Fantic Darpa Racing Team rider is currently the provisional leader of the Youth class. Jed Etchells he ran an exemplary race setting incredible times in all three special tests and outdistancing his direct rivals.

During the two days of competition, the son of art Harry Edmondson touched the podium in the Youth class on Saturday. The Fantic Jet Racing rider was in third position for the entire duration of the race but in the last special test he made one too many mistakes that forced him off the podium.

 

Hugo Svard of the Fantic Darpa Racing Team and Riccardo Fabris, the rider of the Fantic Jet Racing, have entered the Top Ten on both days of competition.

The Chilean rider Tania Gonzales is also at the start of the Portuguese GP and she will participate in the Woman World Championship next wee-kend. This weekend the Fantic JET Racing rider raced in the Open.

 

Our two teams will not return to the base yet but will remain in Marco de Canaveses for the last round of the season which will take place the next week-end.

 

 

JED ETCHELLS: “Another incredible weekend and another double. I'm happy with the result but now we have to concentrate on the last race of the season".

 

HARRY EDMONDSON: “I am very sorry not to be able to get the podium which was within my reach. Two fourth places in the two days of competition fit tight".

 

 

 

HUGO SVARD: “A busy weekend. I was unable to be incisive in the special tests and the results obtained do not satisfy me very much. We hope to do better next weekend”.

 

RICCARDO FABRIS: "I'm happy with my second world experience and I improved the result obtained at my world debut in Italy".
