The most decorated Fantic of the season: the XE300 dominated the enduro scene thanks to the two Italian titles won by Kevin Cristino in the Junior class and by Matteo Pavoni, factory-supported rider of Team Specia, in the 300 class. Completing an extraordinary season was the victory of the Maglia Azzurra in the Junior Trophy at the Six Days of Bergamo, with Cristino as the undisputed protagonist aboard his Fantic XE300 with Minarelli fuel-injection engine. Meanwhile, Semb had already secured silver in the prestigious FIM ISDE World Trophy, together with Norrbin and the Swedish team.
After impressing in Junior2 and beginning to assert itself in the E3 class with Albin Norrbin, the new Fantic XE300 MY26 arrives with a wide range of technical and aesthetic updates that make it even more competitive, powerful and modern.
XE300 is a motorbike devoted to performance without compromise thanks to the best performing 300cc engine on the market.
The first engine in Fantic's Racing range was developed, tested and manufactured in Italy by Motori Minarelli. A compact, technological and extremely high performance engine, which guarantees plenty of power, with a smooth and full torque curve at all rpm.
It is precisely the technology hidden inside this jewel that guarantees its brilliant performance, thanks first and foremost to a dual injector electronic fuel injection system that ensures excellent smoothness of operation and E5 Plus compliance.
The exhaust valve is electronic, allowing a full and vigorous torque curve at all rpm. The electric starter, designed by Minarelli, ensures immediate starts in all conditions. Finally, the hydraulic clutch ensures precision and minimum effort on the lever.
The chassis compartment is top class. The 300 2-stroke heart is set in a fine aluminium semi-double cradle frame, which ensures the best possible rigidity/lightness ratio. Like the other sisters in the XE300 enduro range, it confirms the excellent Kayaba suspension with 48mm SSS fork, for years the benchmark of the offroad world. A bike therefore extremely agile and with handling qualities unrivalled in its class.
The explosiveness of the 2-stroke is also perfectly managed by the first-rate electronics: first and foremost, multi-level traction control and a dual mapping switch to be always ready in all conditions. Important study has also been reserved for the handlebar positions of switches and buttons, allowing great functionality, but reduced space and minimal design. Configuration LED, multilevel traction control setting and double map switch are positioned on the left, on the right only the classic kill switch.
Great functionality is also guaranteed in terms of maintenance, with direct access to the air filter. Last but not least, the ergonomic part, studied by the Fantic test team, boasts minimal overall dimensions and maximum centralisation of masses. Oil and petrol tanks are integrated, the conveyors narrow and ergonomic, the rear end completely redesigned compared to Fantic's other 2-stroke offroad models, providing space for many more components, but confirming the same overall dimensions.
