Fantic breaks the mold: the "Evolution Series" is born

Beyond the Model Year concept: new developments for the Enduro and Cross range, with the thoroughly updated XE300 and the new XXF250 to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Santa Maria di Sala (Venice, Italy), June 18, 2026

Fantic Motor announces a radical turning point today, redefining its approach to the off-road market with the "Evolution Series": a philosophy oriented toward continuous improvement that places substance, availability, and performance at the core of every project.

In a sector where the frantic race for annual renewal often risks compromising the quality and value of investments, Fantic chooses the path of substance. The Evolution Series is not dictated by a calendar but by a strategic commitment: technical updates are introduced only when the innovation is truly mature and capable of offering a tangible performance advantage. This guarantees our riders and partners a state-of-the-art range, capable of preserving its value over time and delivering that authentic "Factory Feeling" born directly from success on the race track. Every technical evolution is born from direct engagement and constant feedback from our riders, both professionals and amateurs: thanks to this essential contribution, every single component undergoes a refinement process aimed at a global improvement in quality.

The goal is clear: to focus development on real competitive needs to keep our models consistently at the top. This constant evolution — which does not necessarily follow the logic of simultaneous updates for the entire range — is Fantic's response to the market's demand for solidity. It is a strategy that prioritizes production and distribution efficiency, ensuring a solid and reliable foundation for the dealer network, always by the rider's side.

EVOLUTION SERIES: THE ENDURO AND MX RANGE

THE CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION OF THE FACTORY FEELING: From the race track to production.

Every Fantic project is born on the race track and in competition: sporting successes represent the fundamental testing ground for the development of our production motorcycles. The numbers speak for themselves: 48 national and international titles won in just six seasons testify to the technological excellence achieved by Fantic.

The year 2025 was memorable, crowned by the Junior Enduro World Championship title won by Axel Semb riding the XEF310, and the extraordinary conquest of the Maglia Azzurra in the Junior Trophy at the Sei Giorni di Bergamo, led by Kevin Cristino on his XE300. The Youth World Championship saw Pietro Scardina crowned Vice World Champion, confirming the XE125 as the benchmark for young riders, while the XE300 dominated the national scene with titles from Cristino and Pavoni.

Fantic also starred in the elite Motocross World Championship. The 2025 season made history with a total of 7 podiums and 8 holeshot awards, the first race win in the premier MXGP class, and third place in the final championship standings for Glenn Coldenhoff – results that established the XXF450 as one of the most competitive machines at the starting gate.

2026 sees Fantic further consolidate its position among the major manufacturers. Management of the official Fantic Factory Racing MXGP structure has been entrusted to Belgian champion Jacky Martens. Alberto Forato and Brent Van doninck are pitting the XXF450 against the world's best riders, demonstrating constant growth in terms of performance and speed. In the EMX125 European Championship, the XX125 confirms its place at the top of the category with two riders in the top 5 of the provisional championship standings.

In Enduro, the challenge continues at the highest level. In 2026, the battle is wide open: in the Youth World Championship, the victories of Riccardo Pasquato and Valentin Mersin demonstrate the competitiveness of the XE125. Thanks to the strong performances of Théo Espinasse, the new XE300 has already reached the top step of the podium in the E3 class of the EnduroGP World Championship, while continuing to stand out in the Junior category, where Thibault Giraudon is engaged in a tight battle for the top positions.

FANTIC ENDURO RANGE

Finally hitting the market are the long-awaited XE300 with major evolutions, alongside the new XEF250, XEF310, and XEF450.

XE125 confirms its status as the absolute benchmark in the 125cc class, bolstered by three Youth World titles that testify to its immense technical value. The smallest bike from the Fantic stable continues to evolve, becoming fully Euro 5+ compliant, in line with the entire Enduro range. Its success is built on perfect chassis balance, guaranteed by the ultra-light aluminum frame paired with premium Kayaba SSS suspension, capable of absorbing any terrain obstacle with millimeter precision. The 125cc 2-stroke engine is extremely high-performing, optimized by the Fantic Racing ECU and completed by a high-performance exhaust system developed in collaboration with Arrow, ensuring a crisp and aggressive power delivery. The red-white-blue look, inspired by the brand’s glorious history, is refreshed with a new front number plate design, now equipped with a next-generation LED headlight.

XE300: More evolved, higher performance, and even more of a protagonist. The new XE300 has finally arrived on the market and is available at Fantic dealers. The main innovation is a deep evolution of the 300cc Minarelli engine, now even more efficient and high-performing. The new cylinder head, combined with a new expansion chamber, guarantees an increase in torque at low-to-mid RPMs, making the bike snappier, easier to manage, and providing class-leading power across the entire rev range. Below are the details of the new 300cc 2-stroke featuring dual-injector indirect injection.

The exhaust valve has been completely revised: it adopts a new forged steel guillotine, lightened cylinders, and a new control shaft for more precise and fluid action. The crankshaft also utilizes next-generation materials, capable of better resisting the stresses of extreme racing.

On the ignition side, the new three-phase generator (rotor and stator), paired with a new voltage regulator, ensures more reliable and precise engine starting and a greater power supply to the entire electrical system.

The most radical changes concern the engine timing and character: low-to-mid range response has been optimized to offer more torque, fluidity, and control, without sacrificing top-end power. The result is a full, progressive power delivery, ideal for tackling any race or trail condition.

The cylinder head features new geometry with a reduced compression ratio and squish, while a revised spark plug improves ignition efficiency. The cylinder has also undergone extensive work: new height, optimized transfer ports and exhaust ports, and an increased distance from the reed valve block for even more efficient engine breathing. The exhaust system is also new, fundamental to achieving the new performance targets.

The electronic package is designed for practicality and effectiveness, featuring dual engine maps selectable from the handlebar and a new, redesigned start button for improved durability and reliability.

The chassis remains one of the model’s standout features: a semi-double cradle aluminum frame for the optimal balance between rigidity and lightness, paired with the proven Kayaba suspension featuring 48mm SSS forks, the absolute benchmark for enduro racing.

Race-derived ergonomics are another key strength, thanks to the compact layout and perfect mass centralization: narrow shrouds, integrated tanks (oil and fuel), tool-less air filter access, and bodywork shapes designed to offer maximum freedom of movement in every situation. The front number plate is new, paired with a lighter and more powerful LED headlight.

XEF250 and XEF310 - The perfect balance evolves again

The new generation of XEF 250 and XEF 310 represents a true evolutionary leap: two entirely redesigned motorcycles that share an excellent chassis base, while distinguishing themselves through the character of their respective engines. Both models adopt a new aluminum perimeter frame and Kayaba SSS suspension with dedicated settings, ensuring an impeccable riding feel. The technical revolution begins with the new 250cc and 310cc engines and extends to every component: from the new airbox and exhaust system to the Fantic Racing-derived Athena ECU, which allows for absolute parameter customization.

The electronic package is among the most complete in the category, managed by the new handlebar-mounted multi-function button — which controls engine maps and Traction Control — and completed by the standard WiFi COM system for smartphone tuning. Aesthetically, both models embrace the family feeling of the XXF cross range, adopting slim bodywork, a new LED headlight mask, and an ergonomic start/kill switch. While the XEF 250 confirms its status as the queen of handling and efficiency, the XEF 310 positions itself as the perfect synthesis between the lightness of the 250 and the power of the 450, offering professionals and amateurs a project ready to win in any condition.

XEF450 - Absolute power, total control. Now completely new.

The XEF450 finally hits the market, representing the ultimate expression of Fantic Enduro: a completely all-new motorcycle, featuring a new engine and new chassis capable of combining the strength of the 450cc single-cylinder with advanced electronics, delivering manageable, fluid performance that is always ready to overcome any obstacle.

The electronic heart is entrusted to the Athena-GET ECU, developed in collaboration with the Fantic racing department. There are three available engine maps, fully customizable via the WiGET app and selectable from the handlebar using the new multi-function switch, which also manages traction control.

Key innovations include a new hydraulic clutch for constant modulation even under high stress, a new optimized exhaust system designed to increase mid-range thrust and easily adaptable for racing configuration, and a redesigned integrated start/stop switch with improved ergonomics.

The chassis has been renewed with a new aluminum perimeter frame, updated in terms of rigidity to enhance stability and precision, paired with fully adjustable Kayaba SSS suspension. The result is an immediate riding feel and total control in all conditions: from the most demanding special test of a World Championship round to a weekend trail ride.
