Fantic Racing shines under the Qatar floodlights with Aron Canet on Pole, also signing the new track record with the time of 1.56.788  

Saturday was already started in the best way for Fantic Team, with the first position of Canet in the combined Practice classification and the track record. 

During Qualifying, Aron managed to further improve his Practice time by almost 4 tenths, going down under the wall of 1:57 winning the first pole position of the season.

At his debut with Team Fantic, Canet will start from Pole for the eighth time in Moto2, chasing the first victory after 20 podiums.
