Sant’Angelo in Vado (PU), July 23, 2023

One month after the last round in Umbria, this weekend, the Assoluti d'Italia di Enduro made a stop in Sant'Angelo in Vado (PU) for the penultimate act of the 2023 season, valid as the seventh and eighth round.

The Benelli Motoclub, assisted by Track Inspector Mario Rinaldi, designed a 50 km length race course divided into three special tests to be repeated four times on Saturday and three times on Sunday for a total of twenty-one PS over the entire race weekend.

The race course included a 6 km Enduro Test in a wooded area with hard, rocky terrain, a Cross Test in a flat 6 km course with hard, dusty terrain, and, in the end, a 1 km length Extreme Test, technical and tricky and spectacular as well, featuring demanding climbs and descents and several artificial obstacles.

With eight consecutive victories, Fantic Racing Enduro rider Kevin Cristino became the Italian Champion in the 125 class for the second year in a row. Riding the Fantic XE 125, he highlighted his grit and tenacity by fighting until the last special test on Sunday, which earned him victory by just 0.07 seconds.
The rider from Piemonte amazed everyone with outstanding performances and times that were on par with those of higher classes.

Also, in the 125 class, Valentino Corsi took two third places over the weekend and conquered the last step of the podium at the end of the race. The 18-year-old rider also the second place on the Championship podium.

Team Fantic Racing's Lorenzo Macoritto, in the 300 2-stroke class, took an excellent second place on Saturday but had to retire on Sunday due to a mechanical problem.

Top ten for JET Fantic Racing riders in the Foreign Class, riding their Fantic XEF 250 4T. Jed Etchells collected an eighth and a ninth place, Harry Edmondson two tenth places.

The final round of the Assoluti d'Italia Enduro will take place on September 9th and 10th in Boario Terme (BS).

Kevin Cristino (team Fantic Racing Enduro): "It has been a perfect season of the Assoluti d'Italia, won with one race remaining and eight consecutive victories, including the last two that were hard-fought. What else can I say? I'm very happy".

Valentino Corsi (team Fantic Racing Enduro): "I am happy to be on the podium in the 125 class because this weekend was very challenging and extremely high temperatures. Now I hope to repeat myself at the last round of the Assoluti".

Jed Etchells: (team JET Fantic Racing Enduro): "The race weekend went well since the good timing in all of the special tests. To get a better result, I would need more consistency, but we are on the right way".

Harry Edmondson (team JET Fantic Racing Enduro): "In my first year among the top riders, I am happy with every good result, and I'm happy because, throughout the weekend, I performed well in all three special tests.".
