Arnhem, August 16th, 2023

The FIM Motocross World Championship returns to the scene one week after the Swedish GP. The sandy track at the Gelderland Midden Motorsportpark in Arnhem hosts an MXGP race for the first time, attracting the attention of all the fans. It is the second consecutive race on the calendar and, in addition to the sixteenth round of the MXGP World Championship and the eighth of the 250 European Championship, the GP of Netherlands hosts the fifth round of the women's world championship.

It is the home GP for Cas and Lynn Valk. Cas is looking forward to riding his Fantic XX 250 after winning the GP of Sweden, where he was fastest in qualifying, won two races, and took the holeshot in the first moto. With three grand prix to go, it is another chance for the 18-year-old Fantic Racing MX rider, in his debut year in the EMX250, to move up in the overall standings.

Cas's teammates Alexis Fueri and Hakon Osterhagen will join him. The Frenchman is aiming for the top 10 in the general standing after his good performance in Uddevalla, where he got a holeshot in race 2.

The Norwegian, riding the Fantic XXF 250, is only on his fourth appearance of the season. After seven months of forced rest, he is showing physical improvement, and on the sandy track of Arnhem, he can repeat the good performance of a week ago.

In Arnhem, the WMX returns after three months since the last race and is the penultimate race on the calendar. Lynn Valk is among the protagonists in the overall standings that show the top five grouped within 58 points. In her home GP, the Dutch girl, vice world champion, is looking for important points to conquer the final podium.

Marco Maddii (Fantic Racing MX team manager). "It's the first time on the Arnhem track. Not for Cas and Lynn, who have already raced in national competitions; they can be at ease on this surface. Also, Hakon has always done very well on this kind of circuit. It is not Alexis' favorite, but on the sand, he has improved a lot this year and will give his best again this weekend. I am very confident, and the podium is within our reach".
