The Fantic Racing MX team ready for the German GP

MXGP makes a stop in Teutschenthal for the German GP. The Talkessel circuit hosts the ninth round of the world championship and the sixth of the EMX125 and EMX250. Elias Escandell assaults the top spots, while Max Werner is in doubt in his home race. Cas Valk and Alexis Fueri are ready to give their best to get important points for the standings.

Teutschenthal, June 9, 2023

Second consecutive grand prix for MXGP and EMX. After Latvia, it is Germany's turn. The Talkessel circuit offers spectacular racing for a large and passionate German audience. It is a fairly fast track and quite hard ground with sand inserts, which makes the track more technical.

It is the home grand prix for Maximilian Werner, but unfortunately, an ear infection could put his participation in doubt. This is a pity for the German, who is third in the overall standings and back from four podiums in the last six races.
Elias Escandell arrives at Talkessel very motivated and will fight to get essential points and climb back to the podium of the 125 European Championship, riding his Fantic XX 125.

In the EMX250, Alexis Fueri and Cas Valk are ready to hit the track. Last year Cas came home from Teutschenthal with second place overall, which allowed him to consolidate his European leadership.

In their rookie season in the EMX250 riding Fantic XX 250s, both riders will give it their all: Valk to get back on the overall podium, Fueri to get back into the top 10.

In Germany, still absent in the MX2 world championship, is Tom Guyon. The Fantic Racing rider will still have to respect a rest period following the injury he sustained during the qualification race in his home grand prix in France.

Marco Maddii (Fantic Racing team manager): "We are in the race for the podium in both EMX125 and EMX250; this weekend, we are looking for points to reach our goal. It is a different track than last week in Latvia, and it suits our guys, who come to Teutschenthal very motivated. I'm very sorry for Max; it's his home GP, he knows the circuit well, and he wanted to race there. We'll see how the situation develops."
